BEGINNERS COURSE
The Beginners Course is based on the New edition of the Textbook of Modern Greek (6th Edition, 2001) and Modern Greek Translation and English-Greek Translation by Dr. Kypros Tofallis.
The Beginners Course assumes no knowledge of Greek and deals with the Grammar, completion of simple sentences, simple translation from and into Greek and the writing of short essays. The course leads to the Preliminary Certificate examination of the Greek Institute which is comparable to the Basic Level of the GCSE in Modern Greek. The Beginners Course is based on the First Part of the Textbook of Modern Greek plus translations from the books: Modern Greek Translation and English-Greek Translation.

1. A Textbook of Modern Greek (6th Edition 2001 - including the New Cassette) £25.00
2. Modern Greek Translation £7.50
3. English-Greek Translation £7.50
Beginners Course Fee: £500.00 (The Course Fee includes the oral examination fee and award of the Preliminary Certificate).
